Supporters/Sponsors

So, in theory, this is the page where Supporters will get thanked by having their names listed and the like. It’s kind of like NPR, except the more you give, the bigger font we’ll use…?

For starters, here’s some guidelines:

Platinum Donor: $200
Wow. You are a true patron of the arts. You get thanks, a permanent link from this page to your website if you want it, copies of any future ebooks that might appear based on the DGC website, and if we ever make real life schwag like T-shirts or something, you’ll get one. Plus if you want to make a cameo appearance in the book, I’ll totally write you in.

Gold Donor: $100
You are really really cool. You get thanks, a permanent link from this page to your website if you want it, copies of any future ebooks.

Silver Donor: $50
Your support goes a long way! You get thanks and a link if you want it.

Bronze Donor: $25
You get thanked on this page!

Plus, any donation of $25 or more will trigger a bonus story post! (Limited to only one bonus story post per week, though.)

There might be other ways to earn a spot on the Wall of Honor here, too, if we get creative. I’m open to suggestions! And of course small donations of a dollar here and a dollar there are super-appreciated, too. See the Tip Jar page for the Donate button.

Then we could have commercial Sponsors:

$200 Underwriter — gets you one year of a text link ad in the sidebar and a permanent product placement (with link) in one of the chapters!

$100 Premium Product Placement — gets you a graphical or text link ad at the bottom of the chapter for one year as well as a permanent product placement (with link) in one of the chapters!

$50 Product Placement — gets you a permanent product placement (with link) in one of the chapters.

$25 — Just a text link ad from a single chapter for one year. It’d say “This chapter brought to you by….” with your name and a link.

The one caveat on product placement is that if your product is somehow utterly impossible to work into the story (because time-travel would be necessary, for example) at the very least it can be worked into a Liner Note post. Daron’s happy to talk about videos, CDs, MP3s, anything music-related, as well as Boston-area related.
