Well! Today a LOT of folks got motivated to become backers of the Daron’s Guitar Chronicles Kickstarter. The combination of the sexy bonus chapter and the deadline approaching spurred a rush. Backers jumped from 80 to 94 (98 when you count Paypal!) between 8am and 8pm, and the total amount raised leaped from $3637 all the way up to $4,078! Yes, over $400 in 12 hours!
UPDATE: Now it’s 1am and grand total is up to $4,296 including paypal! We’re only $204 from the next stretch goal!
Which means we’ve hit the first stretch goal — unlocking 2 scrapbook pages for the omnibus paperback and the adult-rated “I Speak Guitar” novella for all backers — and we still have until Friday at 12 noon to get to the $4,500 stretch goal! At $4,500 we get paperbacks of books 1, 2, and 3 in the ebook series and a 2-hour online chat with Daron for backers only!
Even chipping in a dollar helps and will get you access to the chat and scenes. Chip in via Paypal if you need to, or use the Kickstarter site itself for the best experience!

And thank you everyone who has chipped in or helped spread the word!
Oh! And one more update! Have a look at some beautiful sample pages from the paperback, which the designer, Gilly Rosenthol of Rosenthol Design, sent me! Under the cut:

Hi Ctan. Came into a little more money. Is there a way to move up to a higher pledge/reward level?
Argh! It’s not letting me add on the extra $$ for Omnibus Two… What do I do?
Hm, if Kickstarter is being a pain, just send it via Paypal with a note? I’ll collated everything at the end!
I think the samples look great!
Congratulations on the Kickstarter being funded and reaching the first stretch goal. I am hoping it gets to at least $5,000 because I really want to see the timeline in the book too.
It’s kind of win/win for me. If we get to $5,000 yay money! If we don’t, whew, I don’t have to make that timeline! 😀 Works out for me either way…!
*tosses in an extra dollar so she can make sure Colin treats Daron right* -_-
god did he ever…
